Perhaps it is good that Samsung hasn’t really released any photos of the product as it made the fans become quite creative. We have seen a whole lot of interesting leaked photos and fake renders and the swarm of comments that they produced. Following the social media around you can see that the Galaxy S3 is probably the most awaited phone of 2012! If you like rumors and want to get the latest news on the phone, then please, do read on!
Galaxy S3 to Feature Super AMOLED+ Display?
Now, we should stress out that this if of course a rumor that is coming from unnamed sourced, but you are used to those right? This time the story comes from a popular Korean website ddaily.co.kr and we really hope that the informant is someone close to Samsung! Anyway, the rumor says that the Galaxy S III will sport a 4.65 inch display with Super Amoled Plus and a 1280 x 760 pixels resolution.
We already heard some similar rumors and what is common for all of them is the Super Amoled Plus display which will apparently be one of the features of the new Galaxy S phone. It will probably go well with the Gorilla Glass feature that the phone is rumors to have.
It is funny to see different rumors mentioning different screen sizes and most common are the4.65 inch version and the rounded-down 4.6 inch story. Does it really matter right now? I doubt you or I would even notice the 0.05 inches of difference between the two possible sizes.
The Galaxy S3 is Under Carrier Testing?
This is a far more interesting rumor, and if it turns out to be true then that means the long wait is close to finally being over! Asiae.co.kr reported that Samsung had let the local Korean carriers test the phone. This would support the rumor that the release date is in May, as it would probably take at least a whole month for all the testing to be done. But experts say that one month will not be enough for the testing of such an advanced gadget and that we should keep our hopes high and expect the phone to come out anytime soon.
Well, that is a huge disappointment! So are we back at the July release date rumor again? It would seem so, and Samsung could surely use the chance to check out what the HTC One series have to offer and create the best counter possible. But just how long do we have to keep waiting?
